Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my order?

We aim to deliver your order within 2-3 working days, however if your order is time specific please contact us to arrange a satisfactory delivery date.

Do you offer a credit account?

If you feel that you will be a regular customer it may be easier to open a credit account with us, you will be invoiced monthly and have a standard 30 days nett credit account with us (subject to satisfactory references).

Can I download an application form?

You can receive an application form by emailing info@aspireglasgow.com

Do you offer delivery and collection?

We offer nationwide delivery service as well as a free click and collect service.

I hired a machine for a week but only used it for a day?

All hires are charged on a ‘time out’ not a ‘time used’ basis, therefore you will be charged from the day the machine was delivered until off hired/returned to Aspire Industrial Services.

Who must be face-fit tested when wearing a mask?

Anyone who wears a mask whilst at work is required by law to be face-fit tested. We can test at the Aspire office in Glasgow or on your preferred site. All mask/respiratory questions can be sent directly to info@aspireglasgow.com

Can you supply us with a vacuum to collect asbestos dust and what do I do when I finish my job?

Yes, you can buy or hire a H Class Vacuum from Aspire. If you hire it, you will need to take the contents to a licensed asbestos removal company, who will dispose of the contents for them.

What happens in the event of damage?

If the machine shows signs of fair wear and tear then you will not be charged for this, however if the machine shows signs of damage through negligence, user error or vandalism then you will be charged in full for the cost of repair.

What happens if the machine I hired stops working?

In the unlikely event your hired plant stops working please contact Aspire for advice or a replacement.

Do I need to clean the equipment before returning?

Yes, all equipment should be cleaned prior to return, a cleaning charge will be incurred as a result of dirty equipment being returned.

What does D.O.P stand for?

DOP testing is the method used to test the HEPA filters in NPU’s and H Class Vacuums. D.O.P. is an abbreviation for Dispersed Oil Particulate.

How can I identify asbestos?

It can be very difficult to identify asbestos as it will usually be painted over and often mixed with other materials. If in doubt contact a specialist. We have a list of recommended specialist so for more details or a recommendation email info@aspireglasgow.com

Can you service other equipment?

Yes, we carry a comprehensive range of spares parts and are qualified to service and repair any make of asbestos removal equipment.

I want to do a full workwear rebrand/renewal?

I need access to conformity certificates or spec sheet for my PPE?

We can provide a certification of conformity or spec sheets for all our PPE and can be requested at anytime from our office on any of the contact emails/number.
